Renovation & Expansion
University of Hartford, Hartford, CT
This project renovated and expanded the existing library at the University of Hartford in Bloomfield, CT. Highlights of the project include the new glass-enclosed, double-height reading room overlooking adjacent wetlands and co-locating the University’s music collection for the Hartt School for the performing arts with the main library. The project also renovated staff, circulation and student study areas and provided flexible space to accommodate a wide variety of leaning styles from group collaboration to independent study.
